Hello! I’m Brittney and welcome to my Boasis (B’s Oasis)! “Boasis”, which was cleverly coined by my wonderful husband, is essentially my personal oasis and how I go about achieving this.

The technical term for “Oasis” is a small fertile/green area in a desert region. In other words, a calm, pleasant place in the middle of somewhere busy and unpleasant. AKA: Life. Not to say life is terrible, but we do all deserve an outlet where we can achieve this feeling of peace amongst the chaos. Ways I like to do this is by reading my bible daily and journaling, making my environment around me beautiful, working on taking better care of myself, creating beautiful things, and of course blogging about it to share with others so that they can feel this way too!

A little bit more about me
I am 26 and live in the SF Bay Area in California with my amazing husband, Jonathan. We got married in April of 2023 and are now expecting a little girl here soon in May 2024!

Originally from SoCal, I moved to Kentucky when I was younger and did the remaining of my growing up there. I went to school at the University of Louisville where I was a student athlete in Cross Country and Track and Field and have both my BA and MS from there as well. This is also where I met my husband!
​
After graduating from college, my husband and I started dating in 2021 when I was living in Dallas, TX (I know, random), and we did long distance for a year. Which was not the easiest let me tell ya! That story has it’s own testimonies that I can save for a later date! But I ended up moving to SF in 2022 and have been here since and have been loving it!
​
I have always had a passion for writing and honestly never knew what to with it. I’ve never really had the inclination to write a book but I love writing and sharing experiences with people over products I have bought or life experiences I have endured that I think others would benefit from and I thought making a blog may be this happy medium!

I love running, reading, and being creative in any way I can! Currently, I am working full time and love blogging as my creative outlet (as well with making my candles). If you ever want to connect you can always follow me on social media or email me!
